Treatment detail
FET (Frozen Embryo Transfer)
FET uses embryos that were frozen during a previous IVF cycle. The uterus is prepared with hormones, and the thawed embryo is transferred at the optimal time.
Why FET?
- Embryos remaining from a fresh IVF cycle can be saved for future siblings.
- Many studies show comparable or better outcomes with FET vs fresh transfer.
- Lower risk of ovarian hyperstimulation.
Process
Endometrial preparation takes 2ÔÇô3 weeks. The transfer itself is a quick, painless outpatient procedure.
